This Constellation Pendant presents a stylized astronomical chart depicting Polaris, also known as the North Star. My etched design was inspired by the work of both contemporary and historical astronomers, and is crafted in sterling silver. It measures approximately 1-1/4″ to 1-3/8″ square and weighs roughly 11 grams. The silver is highly polished, and the etched imagery is oxidized for subtle contrast. The pendant has a tube bail on the back (3.5 mm, or approximately 1/8″ interior diameter) for wearing on a cable, cord or chain.
