In 2004, after a career in retail management and administration, I began making jewelry. It was an organic shift that coincided with my other lifelong artistic pursuits and was cultivated through my love of detail, creativity, and artistry. Culture, history, and the natural world are all inspiring sources that I draw on continuously to create unique pieces that you will be able to cherish for many years.
For good reason, the word “talisman” is an often used term in the world of jewelry marketing. Practically to the core of our DNA we humans have a need to feel connections — to important people in our lives, beloved pets, moments in time, nature, places around the world we’ve visited, and life experiences and milestones. Often those connections are reinforced through cherished objects as fortifying reminders. Jewelry offers us not only personal adornment, but a way to carry with us those inherent attachments to what we hold dearest, what bolsters us in our pursuits, and anchors us to our solid foundations.
